About Salvin

Salvin Sawyerr Idehen is a Nigerian novelist, ghostwriter, copy editor, creative writing coach, and voice-over artist. He is the author of eight books, including the novella Ayoola of Lagos and the poetry collection The Melody of Poetry. With nearly a decade of experience across storytelling and editorial disciplines, he crafts fiction that often blends the emotional and the surreal while remaining grounded in compelling narrative structures.

Beyond his creative work, Salvin has served as a judge for international writing competitions, including those in Farnham, UK. He currently works with a publishing house as a copy editor and with an oil and gas company as a brand storyteller. His work has appeared on various platforms, and he is passionate about using stories to explore themes such as trauma, memory, resilience, and healing.

He also hosts The Storyteller’s Chair, a podcast where he performs original fiction and poetry. When he is not writing or editing, he composes soft instrumentals and runs Stories in Stanzas, his poetry imprint on Instagram and Spotify.
